Significance Youth Foundation
The Significance Youth Foundation was setup by Fr. Dermott Donnelly to celebrate his 25 years of priesthood. Throughout that time he has worked with young people helping them grow and develop and make their mark on the world. He has setup and led teams of young people as part of the Youth Ministry Trust, which works in the North East and throughout the UK reaching thousands of young people each year, inspiring them to live life to the full. He is the current Chair of CYMFED (Catholic Youth Ministry Federation) – a national body that works to reach young people and inspire the current generation, the Dean of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle and is Chairman of St. Cuthbert’s Care – a northeast charity enabling people to develop their potential.
The Foundation wants to help young people to make their mark. We believe every person and especially every young person can live a life that is significant: for themselves, for others, for the wider world. We believe and know what young people are capable of and want to shout it from the rooftops or walk quietly alongside those who need it. We won’t settle for mediocrity and don’t want young people to either. We want to help this process!
Everybody’s life can be and is significant. Whatever your starting point, it starts from here. Let Significance Youth Foundation help you.
